Summary and target audience- This book is about Sally and her pizzaria. She uses the fresh produce grown from her community garden to make a pizza that she then gives to her customers. This book goes through what goes into a pizza and where it would come from. The target audience would be young children interested in wherre food comes from.

Evaluation of Literature- I think this is a good young readers book. It gowes through the basic ingredients of a pizza and where they come from. This will be able to open a larger discussion on where our food comes from.

Literary Elements- Cut, Chop, Stir and Simmer are just some words she uses in the story. Push Pull, Punch and Pound are aliteration terms she uses. Whoosh...she twirls it.

Illustrations- The books illustrations were made from color coppies of photos, labels, and other ephimera. They really represent the story and help pull the words into the imagination.

Mini-lesson- There are a few lessons i could pull out of this story, the first would be where food comes from, The second wuold maybe be a cooking lesson because there is a recipe in the back of the book for the pizza crust.
