Summary and target audience- This book is illustrated solely in pictures. The way i interpreted the illustrations the story is about a boy who found an underwater camera on the shore of the ocean. When he gets the film developed he sees the amazing underwater world of the ocean. He also sees that the camera had been to several destinations prior to this current stop. And the children that found the camera took pictures of themselves and pictures of pictures of other children. I d=feel the target audience would be young children interested in marine live, water or photography.
Evaluation of \Literature- Since there was no literature to evaluate the pictures were key to the story.
Illustrations- The illustrations were the key to the story. They were both realistic and proper for the advancing of the story. There were some pictures that you could see were from directly from the imagination of a child, but that could open the doors for realism.
Mini-lesson- I would use the book to help open the topic of underwater sea life and what is real and what is not.
