Summary and target audience- This bopok goes along the lines of genisis of the bible. It mentions God a lot. It goes through the animals of colors and finaly to the people of different colors. And they quarreled about what color god was and the rains came down and then they stopped quarreling and a rainbow came. I guess the target audience would be children who find an interest in what color is most important.
Evaluation of Literature. I dont think i would use this book in class simply because there is so much mentioning of God and that is not very respectful of other peoples religion. It was nicely writtentand helps explain how one person is not better then sanother.
Literary Elements- This story reads as a fable and teaches about respect for one another.
Illustrations- the pictures in this book are very colorful and represent the words really well. The illustrations are very active and would be able to tell the story by themselves.
mini-lesson- I do nopt think i would use this bookk in class but if i did i wuold start off by saying that everyone was created equal and should be respected.
