Summary and target audience- This story follows Eloise as she travels to Paris. It follows her trial and errors throughout Paris. She gives you a list of what to do and what not to do. While meeting all the exciting people and seeing all the fascinating places she likes to put her own childhood twist on why things happen the way they do. I feel the target audience would be either young adventurous girls or children who may be interested in Paris.

Evaluation of Literature- I thought the literature was creative though it was at times hard for me to follow with all the French like terms mixed within the english.  Other then that it seemed like what i would have come up with as thoughts and actions when i was  a child.

Literary Elements- The author used many different techniques to enthrall the reading. Whether it was alliteration of the "z" sound or the rhythm in which the words appear on the page.

Illustrations- At time the illustrations made a lot of sense with the story and you could make out what the French terms were by the pictures, while at other times the pictures gave little to no help at all.

Mini-lesson- I would use this story to help build a lesson around the different culture that is experienced in France and what may be similar and what is different.
